Merissa Martinez

Based in tropical North Queensland, Merissa Martinez brings international experience of dispute avoidance and resolution to clients anywhere in the world.  

She worked in Great Britain for 13 years, gaining experience on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the UK.

Merissa is instructed to assist in disputes concerning construction, commercial, administrative/public, consumer law and is on the Counsel panels for the Queensland government and the Commonwealth DPP. 

As a construction specialist, she has niche experience across the spectrum from fast-track statutory adjudications for progress payments to long-running complex engineering disputes in litigation or international arbitration. 

She is the co-author of two books, has written many articles and provided training for private clients at conferences and seminars.
